Announcement of new IWG chairs

New chairs have been appointed for the SET Plan Implementation Working Groups (IWGs) on ocean energy and deep geothermal.

Gianmaria Sannino, Head of the Climate Modelling Laboratory and Impacts of ENEA, has been appointed Chair of the Ocean energy IWG, with Tim Hurst (Wave Energy Scotland) as a co-chair.

Gerdi Breembroek, ‎Adviser for CCS and Geothermal Energy, Netherlands Enterprise Agency, was appointed as the new Chair of the Deep geothermal IWG. She is supported by co-chairs Stephan Schreiber (Forschungszentrum Jülich) and David Bruhn (GFZ-Potsdam).
