The 1st Energy & Environment Clustering Event “Energy, environment and us: Circular economy and the role of citizens” will take place on 23-24 September 2019 at Durham University and will focus on the need for new skills and knowledge for the energy and climate transition. The programme offers a platform to share experiences from innovative research and education activities engaging students and citizens, and embedding the concept of circular economy in their activities.
The Energy & Environment Clustering Events seek to support universities in addressing social and technological challenges of the energy transition and climate change. They provide a unique angle to energy and environment topics, at the intersection of research, university education, policy and institutional support at European level. This series of events is addressed to university leadership, energy professionals and policy-makers active in higher education and research in the field of energy and environment.
The event is co-organised by the European University Association’s Energy & Environment Platform (EUA-EPUE) together with Durham University.
