Call for expressions of interest - Become a member of the SET Plan HVDC working group

After last year’s intensive work, the Temporary Working Group (TWG) on high voltage direct current (HVDC) succeeded to develop a detailed Implementation Plan for delivery of R&I targets in the field HVDC and DC technologies.

The next step is the creation of the Implementation Working Group (IWG) on HVDC. This group will continue with aligning ongoing research, development and innovation actions at the national and EU level and develop new joint actions. It will bring together stakeholders of the energy sector (transmission system operators, HVDC systems manufacturers, wind turbines manufacturers, wind farm developers, etc.) to join forces in developing and deploying HVDC and DC technologies in the EU.
