The NER 300 programme
NER 300 is one of the world's largest funding programmes for innovative low-carbon energy demonstration projects. The programme is conceived as a catalyst for the demonstration of environmentally safe carbon capture and storage and innovative renewable energy technologies on a commercial scale within the European Union. The projects of the programme
In total, EUR 2.1 billion have been awarded to 39 projects in 20 EU Member States. The programme funds projects in various technology categories (bioenergy, concentrated solar power, geothermal, ocean, smart grids, photovoltaics, wind, and carbon capture and storage).

EU Sustainable Energy Week 2017
A dedicated side event on NER 300 will be organised on 22 June during the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2017. More informatoin about the session is available here.
POWER-GEN Europe 2017
POWER-GEN Europe is Europe’s largest event dedicated to power generation. This year, POWER-GEN Europe will take place from 27 to 29 June in Cologne, Germany.
An overview of the NER 300 programme will be given during the Session "Technology for Sustainability" on Thursday, 29 June (11:00-12:30).
In addition, a session on NER 300 will take place in the presentation theatre in the exhibition area. The session will introduce the NER 300 programme and its current state-of-play. Highlights from funded projects will be presented and experiences will be shared with the audience. The event will conclude with a panel discussion on the key findings and experiences of the NER 300 programme, as well as challenges and opportunities identified.
EU Green Week 2017
