Wat is SETIS? Wat doet SETIS?

SETIS is het informatiesysteem voor het Europees strategisch plan voor energietechnologie (SET-plan). Het systeem ondersteunt de strategische energieplanning en de uitvoering van het Europese beleid voor energietechnologie.

SETIS definieert nieuwe prioriteiten, houdt toezicht op de vooruitgang van het SET-plan en stelt, indien nodig, verbeterde beleidsmaatregelen vast. SETIS ondersteunt en adviseert de stuurgroep van het SET-plan en werkt samen met alle relevante belanghebbenden, zoals overheden, Europese technologieplatforms, onderzoekorganisaties en industriële en financiële groeperingen.

Technology Map: SETIS has recently published the 2011 update to the Technology Map, which is the SET-Plan reference document on the state of knowledge for low-carbon technologies in Europe. It presents a snapshot of the current energy technology market situation.
