Solar CSP European Industrial Initiative Implementation Plan

Consequently, today the European Industry is the world leader in the sector of Solar Thermal Electricity (STE), also known as Concentrated Solar Power (CSP). STE current trends demonstrate that STE technologies will be major contributors to a low carbon economy in a relatively close future. In order to maintain this leadership, efforts in innovation should be enhanced and fostered as the only way to move towards Solar Thermal Electricity capable of providing an affordable and dispatchable energy with a low environmental impact.
