European Sustainable Nuclear Industrial Initiative

The European Sustainable Nuclear Industrial Initiative has the prime objective to develop a nuclear technology which will make the use of nuclear energy more sustainable through more efficient use of uranium resources through recycling of plutonium and by the reduction of the radiotoxicity and of the potential impact of the ultimate radioactive waste. The development of these technologies will achieve the SET-Plan objectives for nuclear energy and also will give to the European Industry a leading role.
